After a 20-year career illustrating for various agencies, studios and corporations around North America, Kari now pursues her own vision working primarily in acrylic, often incorporating mixed media. When she's not in the studio she loves to scour the mountain countryside looking for bears and other wildlife to photograph, ponder and quietly enjoy. Her paintings and reproductions can be found in private collections all over the world. Kari is a graduate of Calgary's ACAD (now known as Alberta University of the Arts), and paints from her home studio in the beautiful Crowsnest Pass, in Alberta.
We've been eager to collaborate with Kari since we were introduced to her iconic wildlife paintings and prints at our first Art Market. We're ecstatic to be able to have one of her most popular images featured on a StumpCraft puzzle.
Packaged in a circular tin. Perfect as a stocking stuffer, hospitality token of appreciation, or corporate gift.
Made in Canada.

Cute and a well-made puzzle
This was my first Stump Craft puzzle and is now my go-to puzzle to refocus. Beautifully made and I believe this would be good for children.
Adorable!
So cute! Beautiful multi-piece whimsies in such a little puzzle! I love these little puzzles- the perfect break at work or in the evening when I don’t have much time. This one was especially beautiful- I love the bear paw!
Knight Watch
I got the bear puzzle when I was in Fernie, B.C. I love that is locally made, the wooden pieces are nice to work with and of course the hidden maple leaf, bear claw, ****** and grizzly.
Beautiful Bear
This is such a wonderful piece of art. The puzzle is hard but fun. It took about 20-30 minutes to do the small one. It was enjoyable enough to want do it again and again. Highly recommend StumpCraft
Great for Children
My second Stump Craft puzzle was great fun. I passed it on to my brother and his wife, who enjoyed working on it as a team. Next, my six year old twin great nieces will give it a go. I enjoy the unique shape of each piece and the talent that goes into designing these wooden puzzles. They smell wonderful, as well. How creative, to pack this puzzle in a tin. It makes it so easy to transport and store. Off to work on my next Stump Craft puzzle. Thank you so much!
