"But how could one possibly pay attention to a book with no pictures in it?"
- Alice
We were inspired by the beautiful, collaborative reimagining of Lewis Caroll's Alice in Wonderland as a cookbook by Calgary's famous foodies and culinary artists Julie Van Rosendaal and Pierre Lamielle. Unlike many colourless snoozefests posing as books, Alice Eats: A Wonderland Cookbook is filled with Pierre's colourful, whimsical illustrations along with delightful recipes based on the characters and events within the unabridged story of Alice in Wonderland.
Despite the Queen of Hearts' thunderous orders to "Get to your places!", you need not worry too much about putting the pieces in the right spot. We've given you plenty of clues and hints based on the whimsical characters, shapes and symbols from the story.
Rest assured you can give your heart to this puzzle, without losing your head.
Alice took up the fan and gloves, and, as the hall was very hot, she kept fanning herself all the time she went on talking. “Dear, dear! How queer everything is to-day! And yesterday things went on just as usual. I wonder if I’ve been changed in the night? Let me think: was I the same when I got up this morning? I almost think I can remember feeling a little different. But if I’m not the same, the next question is, ‘Who in the world am I?’ Ah, that’s the great puzzle!”

Alice Feasts
This is a Christmas gift so I do not know how it will be received, However my daughter is a cookbook fan and I also bought her Julie VanRosendaal's cookbook "Alice Eats". I'm sure that she & her grandchildren will love both!
I love these puzzles! Great workmanship.
Whimsical & Fun!
This art is delicious, Pierre! Working on the puzzle was so whimsical and fun. I was sad when it was complete. Guess I'll need to pull it out again soon... :)
Amazing!
The artwork is gorgeous and the quality is amazing as always!
A Much Appreciated Gift
My husband and I gave this puzzle to his sister. She loved it and got it finished very quickly. She said she couldn't stop working on it, anxious to see it completed.
