Julien Delval is perhaps most well known for his beautiful and exquisitely detailed illustrations that appear on many fantasy book covers for adults and teens. Julien is also a sought-after illustrator for board games, which is how this particular puzzle came to be. Malédiction was originally the cover art for a now out-of-print game by Alea-Ravensburger in Germany. The timely resuscitation of this thematic cover art seemed a perfect fit for a Halloween-themed puzzle.
Whimsies for this puzzle are themed around sorcery, alchemy and creatures associated with Halloween. Clever puzzlers may also find all the necessary "ingredients" to make their own Feature Creature!

Stumpcraft Puzzle Perfection
I love that the puzzles are made in Canada in collaboration with Canadian artists. I love the whimsies inside the puzzles and the intricate shapes of all the pieces. It’s a perfect sensory experience!
Fantastic puzzle experience
Great first experience working with a Stumpcraft puzzle. Opening the box was exciting and a touch overwhelming. Initially felt this puzzle was going to be very difficult after laying the pieces out After sorting and getting a few pieces together I found this project to be manageable and a very fun challenge. It ended up being a fantastic experience. Told my wife multiple times "this puzzle is awesome". What a great time. The shape of the pieces and how well they fit together made building this puzzle exceptional. This experience is going to triple my puzzle budget for the year. I've already got my next purchases lined up. Highly recommend.
I am so looking forward to putting this together! I have only done small ones until this!

The cut, the fit, really nice. I do too many puzzles a year and this was a feel good one.

Another great puzzle from StumpCraft. This is my 7th one, and everyone has been fun and challenging.
