Where tides shift, mountains rise, and nature’s wonders unfold.
Catherine’s art is deeply rooted in her connection to the world around her — a relationship shaped by over 30 years of exploring the pristine shorelines, snowy mountain peaks, and lush subalpine forests near her apartment studio in White Rock, BC.
Inspired by the rich ecosystems that surround her, Catherine’s work reflects the delicate balance of life along the coast. Much like the nearby mainland marshes, the inner part of the spit plays a vital role in the migratory journey of birds each spring and fall — a reminder of nature’s constant ebb and flow.
As you piece together this beautiful landscape, keep an eye out for playful surprises tucked within — from whimsical sandcastles to majestic orcas and humpback whales.
